This is a jig I wrote in memory of a special person in my life. English lacks the proper word to describe the relationship we had. "Friend" is insufficient. This came to me while I was playing guitar as I was falling asleep the night before her memorial service. I decided that once it settled down into a stable form, it was for her. It started out as a reel, but over the next few months it mutated into a jig. When it stopped changing, I wrote it down. Play it at a "perky" tempo, but not at breakneck speed.
