'Ceilidh' or 'Ceili'

A ceilidh (that's the Scottish spelling -- the Irish spelling is "ceili", and they're both pronouced "KAY-lee") is a type of party. It's a party with singing and dancing and storytelling, music that might be a jam session or might be a hired ceilidh band. The kind of party that ties a community together.
